We decided to make our 2011 fundraiser a Brunch and this was hugely successful - both socially and financially!
It was held at The Landmark on Monday 10 October and with over 300 guests, it was one of our largest functions to date.
Our guest speaker was Alex Jones from 'The One Show'.
At the time of the brunch, Alex was participating in the new series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' on BBC1.
She spoke of the various jobs she had before landing the prestigious job of presenter of The One Show and she also told our guests all about her experiences on 'Strictly' which proved highly entertaining.
We ran a very successful auction and raffle on the day and our Mini Brochure was distributed to all our guests.
We raised the wonderful amount of £120,000 which went to Professor Tariq Enver's lymphoma stem cell research at UCL and we thank all our guests and sponsors for their continued and very generous support.
