This year our annual Ladies Luncheon was held on Tuesday 8th May at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. The committee raised an incredible £70,000. Our fundraising on the day consisted of a raffle, silent auction for four different prizes, brochure and a lucky dip which we call our 'Tree of Life'. Prizes won on the day included a long weekend break in Israel, a weekend for 2 at Gleneagles Hotel and a brand new Powerplate My5.

Three hundred and seventy ladies enjoyed a beautiful meal and were entertained by two of the original Calender Girls, Tricia Stewart and Angela Baker, who told their story in a most amusing and inspiring way. One of our past committee members, who unfortunately lost her mother to cancer recently, also told her personal story. The lunch ended with a live performance from X Factor and Chicago star Brenda Edwards.
